The quality of sexual life as one of the components of marital life can be influenced by psychological and sexual factors such as subjective well-being and sexual self-efficacy. In addition, subjective well-being can directly and indirectly affect the quality of sexual life. The current research study aimed to investigate the mediating role of sexual self-efficacy in the relationship between subjective well-being and women’s sexual life quality. The current research method was correlational and structural equation modeling was used. The statistical population of the present study consisted of married women in Rasht in 2022. In the present study, 250 women were selected using the voluntary sampling method. They filled out the Sexual Quality of Life questionnaire, the Subjective Well-being scale, and the Sexual Self-efficacy questionnaire. Collected data were analyzed using Spss and Amos software. The research findings showed that all the indicators of the model had valid fit (χ2/df = 2.46, RMSEA = 0.01, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.97, NFI = 0.99, IFI = 0.99, TLI = 0.99, CFI = 0.92) and sexual self-efficacy played a mediating role in the relationship between subjective well-being and the quality of women’s sexual life (P < 0.01, β = 0.14). As the research findings supported the mediating role of sexual self-efficacy in the relationship between subjective well-being and the quality of women's sexual life, increasing the subjective well-being and sexual self-efficacy would result in the improved quality of women’s sexual life. Thus, the family functioning would improve.

The present study was conducted to compare the effectiveness of Affective Reconstructive, and Emotional-Focused therapies on the forgiveness and psychological well-being in women who filed for a divorce with a history of early marriage. The research method was experimental with pre-test, and post-test design with control and follow-up groups. The statistical population included all women who filed for a divorce (with a history of early marriage) in Ardabil city in 2020. The participants were selected using the convenience sampling method and randomly assigned to experimental and control groups; they participated in each treatment for eight sessions of 90 minutes once a week. The interpersonal forgiveness scale (IF-25) and Ryff psychological well-being scale (1989) was used to collect data. Data were then analyzed using the repeated measures analysis of variance and Bonferroni post hoc test. The findings showed that Affective Reconstructive and Emotional-Focused therapy were effective in increasing forgiveness and psychological well-being in women who filed for a divorce, but the effectiveness of Affective Reconstructive therapy was significantly higher than Emotional-focused therapy. Therefore, in terms of the low level of forgiveness and psychological well-being in women who filed for a divorce, Affective Reconstructive, and Emotional-Focused therapies can use to improve forgiveness and psychological well-being in women who filed for a divorce

This study aimed to investigate the effectiveness of cognitive hypnosis therapy on the body image and marital satisfaction of women. The study's design was of type of quasi-experimental and pre-test-post-test-follow-up with the control group. The statistical population included all women referred to one of the counselling centers of Babolsar. 22 women were selected by available sampling method and according to inclusion criteria and assigned to experimental and control groups randomly (11 subjects for each group). The experimental group individually received cognitive hypnosis therapy for 11 ninety minutes weekly sessions, while the control group did not receive any intervention during this period. Both groups answered the Littleton Body Image Scale (BICI) and Enrich Marital Satisfaction questionnaire (ESQ-47) in three stages of pre-test, post-test, and follow-up. The collected data were analyzed using the covariance analysis statistical method and the Ben Ferroni post hoc test. The results of covariance analysis showed a significant difference between body image and marital satisfaction scores in post-test and follow-up stages of both experimental and control groups and cognitive hypnosis therapy resulted in increasing marital satisfaction and improving women's body image and after two months the results were consistent. Therefore, based on the findings of the present study, the use of cognitive hypnosis therapy can be suggested as a suitable and effective treatment method in individual, familial, and couples counseling.

Abstract: Emotional divorce is the most important stage in the divorce process and indicates a declining marital relationship, which has increased in recent years. Therefore, this study aimed to determine the relationship between lovemaking styles and cognitive distortions with emotional divorce in women. The research design was descriptive, of correlational type. The statistical population of the present study was all married women in District 2 of Tehran in 2019. To conduct this study, 150 people were selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria and asked to complete the Emotional Divorce Scale (EDS), Sternberg Love Scale (SLS), and the Interpersonal Cognitive Distortions Scale (ICDS). The results of the study showed that emotional divorce has a significant negative relationship with each of the dimensions of lovemaking styles, i.e. sincere love, passionate love and committed love and have a significant positive relationship with each of the dimensions of cognitive distortions, i.e. rejection in interpersonal relationships, unrealistic expectations in relationships and misunderstanding in interpersonal relationships. In addition, according to other results of the study, among the styles of lovemaking, "committed style" and among the cognitive distortions, "misunderstanding in interpersonal relationships" were significant predictors of emotional divorce in women. Therefore, counselors and therapists can reduce the likelihood of emotional divorce in women by providing timely and appropriate interventions and training in the field of lovemaking styles and cognitive distortions.
