Infertility as a crisis in marital relationships not only causes psychological problems, but can also act as a powerful blow against the relationship between the couple. The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of emotion-oriented couple therapy and Gottman couple therapy on sexual function, marital sexual satisfaction and depression in infertile couples. In this quasi-experimental study, 54 infertile couples from Omid Royan Infertility Center in Arak were selected and divided into two intervention groups (36 couples) and a control group (18 couples). In the intervention group, the training content was performed by emotion-focused couple therapy and Gottman couple therapy in ten 60-minute sessions for infertile couples, and two months later, the test was followed up. Data were collected using demographic information form, sexual function questionnaire, marital sexual satisfaction and depression and was analyzed using SPSS software version 23. The results showed that there is a difference between the effectiveness of emotion-oriented couple therapy and Gottman couple therapy on the sexual performance of men in infertile couples (P<0.05). However, there is no difference between the effectiveness of emotion-oriented couple therapy and Gottman couple therapy on women's sexual performance, marital sexual satisfaction of women and men, and depression of infertile couples. (P<0.05). Also, the results showed that both emotion-oriented couple therapy and Gottman methods were effective on sexual performance, marital sexual satisfaction and depression of infertile couples, and the scores of the post-test group and the follow-up period were better than the control group (P<0.05). The implementation of both methods of couple therapy has been effective on sexual function, marital sexual satisfaction and depression of infertile couples. Therefore, it is recommended that these two treatments including emotion-focused couple therapy and Gottman be used to improve sexual functioning, sexual satisfaction and marital depression of infertile couples.

This study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the 18-item work-family conflict scale developed by Carlson, et al (2000) as an existing most comprehensive scale and the 6-item work-family conflict scale developed by Matthews et al. (2010) as a short scale with few items. For this purpose, 350 employees of the North Drilling Company of Ahvaz Branch participated in the research and completed the research questionnaires. Examination of the internal consistency of the questionnaire questions by Cronbach's alpha method and the correlation of each question with the total test score showed that these two scales have acceptable reliability. To evaluate the validity of the scales, two methods were used: First, the confirmatory factor analysis, as expected, showed that the three-factor models for the work-family and family-work conflict scale Carlson et al. (2000), as well as the two-factor model for the work-family and family-work conflict scale Matthews et al. (2010), fit well with the data. Second, the results of the empirical validity study showed that both work-family conflict scales have a positive relationship with the depression scale and a negative relationship with the satisfaction with life and subjective happiness scales. Overall, the research findings showed that both scales of work-family conflict, similar to the previous research, have acceptable validity and reliability. As a result, it can be used to measure this structure in Iranian employees.

Marital infidelity is one of the most important injuries and causes of family breakdown that has increased in recent years. Understanding the variables that affect the reduction of psychological problems of people affected by infidelity is very important because it can improve the emotional relationship between couples and reduce the risk of family breakdown. The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of forgiveness in the relationship between loneliness and sexual satisfaction with depression and feelings of inferiority in women affected by infidelity. 250 women affected by infidelity in Tehran were selected using purposive sampling method and participated in this study. Participants completed the Russell & Pilva & Cortona (1980) Loneliness Questionnaire, Larson et al. (1998), Ray et al. (2001), Beck Depression (1996), and Yao et al. (1997). Findings showed that the direct effects of loneliness, sexual satisfaction and forgiveness on depression and feelings of inferiority are significant. The results of path analysis showed that forgiveness has a mediating role in the relationship between loneliness and sexual satisfaction with depression and feelings of inferiority. Based on the research findings, the role of forgiveness in the occurrence and exacerbation of depression and feelings of inferiority can be confirmed. As a result, by providing the necessary training to women affected by infidelity in order to improve forgiveness skills, the harm caused by infidelity can be reduced.

Having a mentally retarded child has a significant effect on family mental health and leads to anxiety and psychological problems. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of emotion regulation training based on Gross Model on anxiety, depression and emotion regulation in mothers of children with intellectual disability. The research method was quasi-experimental with pretest-posttest design and control group. 30 mothers of boys with intellectual disability were randomly divided into two experimental groups (15 people) and control group (15 people). The experimental group received emotional training based on Gross model in 8 sessions that were 2 hours; While the control group did not receive any intervention. All subjects answered Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ) Beck anxiety inventory (BAI), and Beck Depression Inventory (BDI-II) before and after the training. The results of these analyzes showed that the scores of emotional regulation, anxiety and depression of the subjects in the experimental group were significantly lower compared to the control group in the post-test stage. These findings suggest that emotion regulation training is a good way to improve emotion regulation and reduce anxiety and depression in mothers of children with intellectual disability and can be used as an intervention with empirical evidence in psychological clinics.

Depression is a common mental disorder affecting adolescents and associated with high levels of stress, anxiety, and in the worst possible scenarios, suicide. This question always is asked, which treatment in more effective? The aim of present study was the effectiveness of family-based interpersonal psychotherapy (FB-IPT) on depression symptoms in adolescents. Three depressive adolescents male were selected in Tehran. Multiple baseline experimental single case was used as the method of the present study. 14 sessions of family-based interpersonal psychotherapy (FB-IPT) was administrated in 2 days per week and 7 consecutive weeks. This treatment was carried out in three phase of baseline, intervention and follow-up and participants complete Mood Affect Questionnaire (MFQ) in phase of baseline 3 times, intervention 5 times and follow-up 2 times. Data analyzed with visuals inspection, reliable change index (RCI) strategies and improvement percentage. Results showed that family-based interpersonal psychotherapy (FB-IPT) had significant effect in reduction of depression signs. According to the findings of the present study, it can be concluded that integrating individual treatment with family system, especially parents, can have more effective outcomes in adolescents; therefore applying this method is recommended by the professionals of this field.
